“The Games Afoot!”

As Henry the V said, “The Games Afoot.” At least according to William Shakespeare Henry V said it.
September 18, 2011 marks the beginning of the Prostate Cancer Pony Express™ motorcycle rallies for prostate cancer awareness.

As a nation, we’ve done a great job raising awareness for breast cancer.  Now it’s time to do the same thing for prostate cancer.

Prostate Cancer Advocacy Organizations Unite
This morning I sent an email with the ride details and draft schedule to the major prostate cancer advocacy organizations, Zero, MaleCare, Us Too, and several others, and I hope Sunday, September 18th will witness all of us standing together on the steps of the Capitol delivering the prostate cancer research and prevention message to Congress.

Stay tuned for more information.

Just another day in paradise. Warm regards, Robert

  1. Hi Robert:
Great that you are starting another ride for prostate cancer awareness, and here’s hoping we all stand together at the White House on September 18.
You probably know that all of our pca national nonprofits are collaborating on Light the White House Blue at http://lightthewhitehouseblue.org I thought to ask you to join us in gathering signatures for this important awareness building effort.
You can print out copies of the petition via a link at the bottom of the page, but, also, I would ask you to mention the url and this effort during all of your upcoming press contacts. That would be very helpful for all of us. It would be great to meet at the White House during the day, and to share a celebration in front of a blue lit white house that night.
Please feel encouraged to email or telephone me with any questions or comments.
    Cheers,
    Darryl
